Unified Basketball

Volunteers are needed to help out at Unified Basketball games and tournaments to keep score. No experience is necessary just some focus :).

Games (interested students should email Jill Hertel at jhertel@fgsd.k12.or.us to get involved):

- Wednesday, January 24th: 5pm, 6pm, 7pm (need 2 volunteers for each spot)

- Wednesday, February 7th; 5pm, 6pm, 7pm (need 2 volunteers for each spot)

If you are a student participating in Unified Basketball this winter feel free to sign up for a time that doesn't correspond to one of your specific games. For example, if you play during the 5 o'clock game on the 24th, you can't count any hours for playing, but may count an hour or two if you volunteer at the two consecutive games to keep score. At the tournament, high schoolers who play on a team can count any hours they earn during the first half of the day at the middle school portion of the day, but cannot count any hours for the time the high school tournament is scheduled to take place (1PM-6PM). Participating on a team or coaching are still things that will not count for hours at this point in time.
